Hello! Last night was amazing! Just want to share the fall schedule I handed out yesterday. I will be sending a mailer too in a couple of days. Our theme this fall will be about friendship from a biblical perspective. I am again doing a drawing for a $100 amazon gift card for those who go to Sunday School at any church between now and December, every time they attend they get to put their name in. Remember if you have any questions, I am here for you!

Our “Guns and Cars” event begins tomorrow at 3pm. It will be held at Jonah and Molly Mayo‘s farm, their address is 1055 30th ave. Sherburn
We will be doing a car clinic and teaching the basics of car care and dealing with roadside emergencies. We will also be doing some trapshooting in target shooting. For those who are not interested in either we will have games inside and outside of the huge shop. All attendees must have a signed permission slip. We will be eating supper around 6:30 and wrapping things up by 8. This is on a farm and it’s going to be muddy! Let me know if you have any questions hope everybody can come!

Sorry it has been so long since I did an update on here! A few things... our new time for the rest of this year will be 6pm-8pm. Right now we are studying Matthew 5 and will be moving through chapter 6 and seven in the next 6 weeks. Also we have a Saturday event coming up March 20th 3-8 pm at Jonah and Molly Mayo's farm. We will spend some time teaching car care basics, playing games hopefully outdoors and shooting at targets. There will be supper and a couple devotional times too. Any questions let me know!

Hey all! Just a friendly reminder we meet at the church and then go out to Cedar/Hansen Park for our annual night game "Biblesmugglers" tomorrow night Please send a permission slip if you haven't already turned it in and we will aim at leaving the park and heading back to the church by 7:15. We will have walking tacos for supper!

We have added two events to next week. We will do regular youth group from 6-7 and then from 7-9 we will do an outdoor movie. I encouraged the teens to bring comfy seating like a camp chair. If it rains we will not do the movie but will still have youth group inside. Then next Friday the 16th we are going to go down to Arnold's Park for "Boji Scare" (it's kinda like Valley fair's "Valley Scare" but on a much smaller scale.) we will leave at 7 pm and return around 11. The admission cost is $10 and they should bring some snack money. I need to know by the 14th if your teen is going to go so I can find enough drivers and vehicles. Hello! Wanted to let you know our schedule for the month of October. We are going to keep meeting because I believe we need to offer a place to connect safely while the teens are in distance learning. We are going to meet from 6-7:15 so we have more daylight to do things outside, we will still be providing a meal starting at 5:30. We will keep things outside as much as possible and be very conscious of social distancing. If it rains we are going to go to the youth room but masks will be worn and the room is big enough to keep us all spaced out. We have also puts fans throughout the church, are keeping windows and doors open and have the furnace fans on at all time to help keep air moving. I will be sending out a mailer this week that will have a permission slip in it for Oct. 28th when we do our annual "Bible Smugglers" night game out at Cedar/Hanson Park. We will not do a fun night in the month of October, hoping the numbers go down and we can start doing those again in November. If you have any questions let me know!

Just making sure everyone know we will be out at Jonah and Molly Mayo's tonight having youth group in the shop. This is a huge space that will allow for social distancing and lots of air movement. We will be providing a supper every wednesday this year, tonight it's Casey's pizza. If you would like to help with providing meals let me know! We will meet at the church first so everyone can get a ride that needs it, hope to leave the church by 6:40ish Do not hesitate to call/text me with questions (507-236-1872) we should be back to the church by 8:15 Please remember to send the signed permission slip with your teen. Hello! Letting you all know I will be at Ole's tomorrow night buying ice cream for any youth who stops by. Also want parent's to know if your child will be in seventh grade this fall they are officially welcome at all youth events! I am trying something new this year we will have a meet and greet Parent/teen meeting for all incoming 7th grade youth in late August but your teen is allowed and invited to all youth events that happen before then. We are waiting to see what the schools decide before we make any fall decisions- hope we find out soon!

Hello Parents! Hope all is well at your house. I sent out an email to all of our youth asking what they most want from youth group right now. The overwhelming response was "Can we have our end of the year party now?" I have talked with our church and have made a plan. We will go ahead with our end of the year party on the farm June 17th. We will try to keep things covid-19 safe but no matter what there is risk when we gather of this disease getting passed around. Please talk with your teen about this and make a decision together whether or not to attend. We will not be helping with transportation do to the close quaters of a vehicle and they way this disease seems to spread. The party will start at 6 and end at 9. We will have pizza, snacks and beverages. We will be doing water games,paintball, a bon fire and more. Your teen MUST have a signed permission slip to attend, these will go out in the mail tomorrow. I can also send you a digital copy you can print out through messenger or email- Just let me know what you need! Thanks!

Hello, Parents! With the stay at home order expiring and groups of 10 and under now allowed, we would like to get our youth together in small groups. We already have small groups established that were meeting on wednesdays during youth group. Those same groups will now be gathering. We have established safety guidelines for these meetings, please see below. I would love to hear from you if you have any concerns or questions. We understand that some will not be comfortable having their teens mixing with people outside your family and that is okay. There is no pressure to meet, we will just be letting kids know the when and where. They will need transportation as part of keeping everyone safe is not packing into small spaces like cars.
