Hello everyone. I'd like to take a moment and tell you a bit about our fundraiser from the side of the non profits.

The Soup Kitchen of Greater Wheeling and Wheeling Health Right are two of the busiest service providers in the area. Serving the unsheltered, lower income, and all those in need in the Ohio Valley. Both provide services outside of Ohio County to neighboring counties and partner with other non-profit service providers all throughout the Valley, including each other.
COVID and the recent rise in the cost of living have made both of these service providers busier than ever. Middle class families that were just getting by now find themselves in the position of needing help and The Soup Kitchen and Wheeling Health Right are there with open arms waiting.
Both of these agencies rely on the kindness of our citizens in the form of donations and fundraisers. When COVID reared it's ugly head and shut everything down in 2020, it hit our nonprofits hard. Donations slowed to a trickle and fundraisers seemed a thing of the past.
Jump to 2022 and with COVID becoming a "norm" we will have to learn to live with, The Soup Kitchen and Wheeling Health Right have partnered together to bring an exciting new fundraiser to the Valley. Two agencies working together Rather than competing to raise funds.
A true partnership in everyway.
We could not be more excited for Nail City Chefs and the opportunity to work with so many local businesses because we are not only putting two agencies together we are collaborationing with partners of all kinds. Chefs, resturants,small businesses and more. We pulled together a village of helpers to assist our efforts and they all came with amazing ideas and a helping hand.

So save that date, November 19th. It's going to be a ton of fun for two great agencies!!!

Hello all. My name is Susan Hagan and I am one of the creative minds behind this brand new annual event to benefit The Soup Kitchen of Greater Wheeling and Wheeling Health Right called Nail City Chef.
On behalf of The Soup Kitchen and Wheeling Health Right we are excited to announce our featured Chefs this year, Chef Adam Luiso and Chef Rocco Basil. They will be cooking head to head with secret ingredients. Think a little bit Iron Chef and a little bit Chopped all rolled into one. Although only the judges will be tasting the contest food, everyone attending will be having a gourmet buffet dinner prepared by our star chefs.
As we get closer to the date we will be announcing our 3 judges, our amazing MC and other exciting pieces of the event. From signature cocktails and other signature treats all made with one of the secret ingredients to fabulous auction items. You will not want to miss this event!!!
