Thank you to everyone who spoke, and sat through this meeting, there was a huge Building Trades presence in the room. The meeting lasted just under 4 hours. We did prevail by vote of 6-2 to keep the RCO as is.

Northampton County Council did not amend its Responsible Contractor Ordinance, keeping a law in place that favors builders with apprenticeship programs.

The county council scheduled a public hearing for Thursday, Sept. 7, on a proposed change to the 2018 Responsible Contractor Ordinance.
