The TPRCFO in collaboration with the AACC is partnering with community organizations to host 4 African Drum Circle presentations and it’s connection to the rich heritage of Bomba, a dance of resistance by enslaved Africans in Puerto Rico!!

This unity of heritage and pride is how we move in the City of Trenton.

Thank you to our community our partners, William Trent House, Urban Promise, Ellarslie Museum, and Boys & Girls Club of Mercer County

And to I am Trenton for providing grants to local organizations that do the educational and cultural work in our communities.

The mission of the Heart of Jazz Foundation states, “We aim to raise jazz awareness in the communities where it once flourished. We provide university scholarships to students seeking careers in jazz music. We provide a platform for musicians, especially younger and lesser-known musicians to perform in front of a broader audience than they might otherwise be exposed to”.
