ANJR Executive Director Alexis Bailey was pleased to join Seth Hackman from the NJ Department of Environmental Protection and Scott Cassel from the Product Stewardship Institute for a fireside chat on Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) policies at Northeast Recycling Council (NERC)’s Rethink Resource Use Conference.

It was a great conversation highlighting New Jersey’s progress on EPR to date, including successes such as our e-waste law and solar panel recycling initiatives, as well as the work still ahead.

We also discussed pending legislation, including the mattress and v**e EPR bills being considered in the Senate Environment and Energy Committee later this week.

Thank you to NERC for bringing together leaders from across the recycling and resource management community for such an important and timely conversation!
