YWCA Trenton After School Program & Summer Camp The After School & Summer Camp Programs provide educational and recreational activities for children ages 5-12 during the school year and in the summer.

The YWCA Trenton After School & Summer Camp Programs have been providing services to the families in Trenton and surrounding communities since 1972. The YWCA Trenton's After School Program offers services that focus on scholastic achievement, character building, cultural awareness, personal development and community service. Classes and activities include homework assistance, academic tutoring, arts & crafts, music, dance, drama and fitness and nutrition.

If you are looking for a camp for your 3-6year old, contact the YWCA's Young Wonder's Preschool in Hamilton. Spaces are available for their Summer Camp that begins on June 27th.

The YWCA Trenton WILL NOT be operating a summer camp program this year. Due to recent financial challenges, the YWCA facility has closed and will no longer operate a Summer Camp. Ms. Susan and Mr Capone are no longer employed at the YWCA. We have many fond memories of our years at the YWCA and we will sincerely miss "our kids", parents, and community partners. You all have a very special place in our hearts!

It is with great sadness that I post these pictures of "MY KIDS" from the final days of our After School Program. Because of recent challenges facing our organization, the YWCA is taking positive measures to reposition our center for growth going forward. During this time of transition, the decision was made to close our facility due to the rising cost of operations. As a result of this decision, we have had to close the After School Program.
I have been a part of the YWCA and the Trenton community for 20 years and have many wonderful memories of my years here. I have watched children grow, go to college, have their own children and then come back to the YWCA with their little ones!
I will miss my kids, parents,
co-workers and the friends I have made in the community but you will all always have a special place in my heart.

Afterschool Program students in the garden at the Crisis Ministry across the street from the YWCA. They help plant and harvest vegetables which are then put in the food pantry to help feed low income families in the community. Today they harvested potatoes that they helped plant in the spring.
