Hear me out for just a moment.

We currently have roughly 1,430 followers on our page. If just 500 of us committed to donating $1 a day to a Veteran organization like the VFW for one year, that donation-driven organization would have $182,500 by the end of the year.

While that sounds like a massive sum, the reality is that the cost of operating a post, providing lifesaving programs, and managing hundreds of other critical activities disappears quickly. This money directly funds:

Securing Veteran rights and benefits

Actively battling Veteran su***de

Providing immediate help to Vets in need

Feeding and housing struggling Veterans

We are asking you to reflect on what a dollar a day means to you, and the incredible power that single dollar can have when combined with a community that truly believes in supporting our local heroes.

It doesn’t have to be the same 500 people every day, and every single bit helps. Right now, VFW Post 4798 is on a mission to reach our $100k fundraising goal. We are currently at just over $2,000. We have a long way to go, but we are incredibly confident that our community will rally to help us get there.

Saw a quote this morning that actually made me stop and take inventory.

“Whatever you do today, do it with the confidence of a 4 year old wearing a Batman t-shirt.” -unknown

Life brings seasons of change and challenges. Changes and challenges are necessary for resilience. Without the ability to become resilient, we feel or rather become hopeless.

Regardless of the situation there are people that care and want you around tomorrow. As Veterans we must help one another in these hopeless periods. Peer Groups, counseling, and just being available to go and help, listen, or es**rt one another is key to securing tomorrow.

VFW Post 4798 is taking an active role in giving all Veterans opportunities for success with our Peer Group (first Tuesday of each month), Bike Nights to raise Veteran su***de awareness and education, and our doors are open to welcome in those in need or just looking for a place to connect.

As we start a brand-new day, it’s the perfect time to reflect on what unites us. The Pledge of Allegiance isn’t just a tradition we repeat out of habit; it’s a powerful daily promise. It is a commitment to the United States, to the values of liberty and justice, and to every single one of our fellow citizens.

Here are a few meaningful ways we can live out that promise today and every day:
Say the Pledge with Pride: Taking a moment each morning to recite the Pledge keeps our shared values at the forefront of our minds.

Remember Those Who Served: Let's carry a heart of gratitude for the brave veterans who dedicated their lives to protecting our freedom.

Support Those Who Continue to Serve: Let's lift up and encourage the service members, first responders, and community leaders who work tirelessly every day to keep this amazing country strong and safe.

🏍️ URGENT UPDATE FOR THIS THURSDAY’S BIKE NIGHT (JUNE 18th) 🏍️

Community, we need your help to rally around one of our own.

While our hearts remain dedicated to remembering veteran su***de awareness, this Thursday, June 18th, we are expanding our fundraising efforts to answer an immediate call for help. A local veteran has recently passed away, and their family is currently struggling to make the final payments for cremation and end-of-life expenses.

Our goal is to raise enough to lift this financial burden completely and provide a little extra to help the family lay their loved one to rest with peace of mind.

Please come out, show your support, and ride for a cause that hits close to home. Let's show this veteran's family the true strength of our community.
