Soo very proud of our Trenton Branch NAACP ACT-SO Program! We sat, ate, laughed, and reflected today. Tomorrow we will cross our fingers and strive to bring home a few medals 🏅 from the National ACTSO Award's Ceremony.

ACT-SO inspires young Black students to expand their horizons and sharpen their skills. From performing and culinary arts to science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM), students can demonstrate their talents in up to three competition areas. Explore the 32 competitive fields.

Each year, high school students across the country start a journey to sharpen their skills through the Afro-Academic, Cultural, Technological, and Scientific Olympics (ACT-SO). Participants work with community-based volunteers for a year to develop projects and performances from visual arts and business to performing and culinary arts. The experience culminates in local and national events where students compete for scholarships and other rewards.

Rocks!!! A quick an easy yet well thought out and strategically designed Black History Program Presentation for the Trenton Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. The presentation entitled, "A Masterpiece", encompasses an original essay, music composition, music instrumental, music vocal, film making, drawing, painting and passion all crafted by the ACT-SO youth. Trenton ACT-SO is an awesome program for high school students to hone their talents, study civics, gain leadership skills and most importantly provide a safe space for young people to be young people!!
