One of the best State Representative Denise Mentzer

Clinton Township Local 1381 is proud to announce our endorsement of State Representative Denise Mentzer!

Representative Mentzer is a HUGE supporter of both firefighters and law enforcement with a track record of advocating for increased staffing both in Lansing and at the local municipal level.

Bringing staffing to the forefront to protect the lives and property of the residents we serve will continue to be a priority for our local unions. Macomb Township Professional Firefighters Local 5023 will continue to fight for adequate staffing to protect the 100,000 residents of Macomb. For far too long, this issue has been ignored, and we applaud the recent hiring. However, 14 firefighters serving 100,000 residents remains far below industry standards. We will continue shedding light on this issue and advocating for proper, safe staffing.

Our 2028 Convention hosts! Great job!

The Sault Ste. Marie Professional Firefighter Union was proud to present the MDA MPFFU with a check from some of the proceeds of our annual golf scramble. We are extremely thankful of everyone who came out and supported this years golf scramble!

Today, L821 swore in a new member, Joe DiJanni, bringing our total to 18 union firefighters! Congratulations!

During my time in the Michigan Senate, there are few working relationships I value more than the ones I share with local leaders across our lakeshore district. From mayors and township supervisors to city council members, we’ve been able to leverage our partnership to deliver real results for the communities we serve.

I’m proud to have their support in this race, and I’m ready to keep working alongside them to build on this work.
