Its National Womens History Month!
Please help me celebrate two of my favorite ladies in my world! My Sheros.
I grew up in a small suburban town in NJ where most people did not look like me especially in school.
Thank you both for allowing me into your world, your space. I am so much better for it.
Thank you for being there when i needed you the most in some very pivotal times in my life. Your friendship and love is sketched in my heart forever. I am grateful to have two incredible beautiful, strong, vibrant warriors as my BFF, and former educators in our community💕🙌🏽

If you ever had my collard greens, i got that recipe from Dorothy Hayes. Oh so good. Your a beautiful musical note that will forever play in my soul.
Carter.. thank you for stopping my 12 year old self in the hall ways and making sure i got to class on time, i was so proud to know you were the gifted and talented teacher, and you knew my name and the back of my head😂😂 I love when you tell me i should have been in your class. 😆😆 you were strong and stern with the right amount of love i needed. Thank you for seeing me.
