Congratulations to our NJ State Lead Volunteer Ambassador Johanna Rochat, who earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Drexel University yesterday. This achievement reflects her strength, her determination, and the deep compassion she brings to everything she does. We are profoundly grateful for the countless hours she gives to ACS CAN, even while balancing so much in her own life. Johanna, your dedication moves us. A very special thank you to the parishioners and staff of Our Lady of the Assumption R.C. Church in Emerson, NJ for creating such a beautiful and meaningful Lights of Hope display. More than 160 bags encircled the church, each one a tribute to loved ones lost to cancer, to survivors, and to the caregivers who walk beside them.

It was deeply moving to watch individuals pause, take photos, and search for the Lights of Hope honoring the people who have touched their lives. The care and reverence shown by this community made the display truly special.
