At Embright Education, we believe every child deserves a future illuminated by kindness, connection, and resilience.

Our comprehensive programs equip young learners with the social and emotional tools they need to thrive in an ever-changing world. Camp Fire New Jersey, a non-profit 501(c)3 organization chartered in 1936, is rebranding to Embright Education! This rebrand better aligns with our mission to teach kindness, connection, and resilience to kids throughout Mercer County, NJ and beyond. While our name is changing, our dedication to our mission and curriculum remains as strong as ever.

Summer may be winding down, but the connections made will last far beyond camp! ☀️

This summer, Embright Education had the opportunity to bring social-emotional learning to campers at Neptune Camp through activities designed to get kids moving, talking, working together and having fun.

Through moments like these, campers practiced skills like communication, teamwork, self-awareness and relationship building, all while simply feeling like they were having a great day at camp.

Thank you to Neptune Camp for welcoming Embright this summer. We loved being part of it! 💙

The end-of-summer blues are real.

Going from slower summer days back to alarms, schedules, homework and activities can be a big adjustment, for kids and grown-ups.

A few ways to make the transition a little easier:

☀️ Hold onto one favorite summer routine
💬 Talk about what your child is excited, or nervous about
📅 Ease back into school-year bedtimes and routines
💛 Remind kids that it’s okay to have mixed feelings about going back

A new school year brings change, but it also brings new opportunities to grow, connect and build confidence.

This time last night, our Board of Directors and staff were gathered together, reflecting on the impact of Embright Education and looking ahead to all that’s possible.

It was an evening of meaningful conversation, new ideas and a shared commitment to the students, educators and communities we serve.

A great way to kick off the new school year! 🎒💙

Embright Education was proud to come together with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Mercer County and the James R. Halsey Foundation of the Arts for our Back to School Supply Drive & Community Event!

Together, we helped provide local students with backpacks and school supplies to help them start the year feeling prepared and supported.

Thank you to everyone who came out and helped make the event a success, and to Bank of America for their support!

A little back-to-school reminder for tomorrow! 🎒

Join us from 4–6 PM for a Back to School Supply Drive & Community Event in Trenton.

Free backpacks and school supplies will be available while supplies last, and at 5 PM we’ll celebrate the Homedell Playground and building improvements with a special ribbon cutting.

Try this Embright activity at home! Grab a paper plate and some markers, crayons or paint, and invite your child to create a plate that represents them!

They can add:
• Their favorite colors
• Things they love
• Something that makes them happy
• Pictures or symbols that show who they are

When they’re finished, ask: “What did you include on your plate, and why is it special to you?”

A simple art project can open the door to conversations about self-expression, identity and confidence. 💛
