Trenton Community A-Team Art transforms and uplifts. The Trenton Community A-TEAM supports, develops, and promotes self-taught, local artists.

TCAT supports and promotes all the creative endeavors of self-taught artists who find it difficult to independently acquire the resources they need to develop and display their talents to the public by providing:

A permanent gallery for the display and sales of TCAT art at our Studio 51 location. Opportunities for mounting shows at museums, galleries and corporate headquarters. Visibility for cre

ative activity through media outlets and book publishing. Provision of art supplies through budgeted funds and in-kind donations
Trips to museums, concerts, and other cultural events and to studios of area artists. Open studio hours, Tuesday-Friday 12 - 4 PM. Enhancement of community pride through outreach efforts

TCAT and the City of Trenton lost a dear friend this week.

Marge Caldwell-Wilson spent decades fighting for the people and causes of Trenton, and its artists were always close to her heart. In 2012, she founded the Trenton Arts Explosion, and from then on, she just kept showing up for local artists, for neighborhoods, and for this city she loved so much.

We will miss her. She was a fierce advocate, a dear friend, and a true Trenton icon.

In lieu of flowers, her family has asked that friends honor her memory with a gift to one of the organizations she treasured, and we're proud to be one of them. If you knew Marge or have been touched by the work she championed, please consider making a donation in her honor.

We’re so excited for this Saturday! 🎨

The TCAT Art Cart will be at ARTWORKS this Saturday, August 29, for the opening reception of Kate Graves' Invisible Forces, a new series of large-format watercolors inspired by musician Caleb Ray Walker's 2025 cross-country bicycle journey through desert landscapes and open sky.

Stop by and create with us!

There's also live music all night: WPRB DJ Jon Solomon (4-6pm), DATA_WOLF's ambient electronic (6-7pm), and Central Jersey Safari performing their new album Gettin' Home from Tucson (8-9pm).
