Coming up on October 22, the opening of Unfolding: Early American Accounts from Liberty Hall, a major exhibition exploring how letters, ledgers, maps, and manuscripts shaped everyday life in early America. Drawn from the collections of Kean Galleries and Collections and Liberty Hall Museum, the exhibition commemorates America's 250th anniversary through rare and fascinating archival materials.

Guests will enjoy the exhibition, hear remarks from the curators, and explore rare archival materials that illuminate everyday life in early America. The reception will feature light refreshments and opportunities to connect with collectors, historians, faculty, students, and community members while learning more about upcoming America 250 programs and events.

At 5:30 PM, Professor Chris Bellitto will present a talk titled “Ancient Greece and Rome Meet Revolutionary New Jersey: The Case of Liberty Hall.” A reception with live period music, ch*****ne, and hors d’oeuvres will follow at 6:00 PM. At 7:00 PM, guests will hear a sneak preview of Remember the Ladies, a new Premiere Stages production written by Erin Breznitsky exploring the influence of Sarah Livingston Jay and Adrienne de Noailles on the alliances and policies of what would become America.
