With cooler weather approaching our area, everyone is beginning to turn on their furnaces for the first time this season. Make sure safety checks are performed or have a professional come service your appliances.

Faulty furnace operation equates to roughly 12% of all house fires, and space heaters are connected to 46% of house fires due to home-heating related fires.🔥

Follow these tips:
➡️Have your furnace serviced and change your filter for the colder weather seasons.
➡️Clean and inspect fireplaces and wood burning stoves.
➡️Never leave space heaters unattended, make sure they having plenty of room and nothing is stored around them.
➡️Make sure your CO Detectors and Smoke detectors are functioning and located properly throughout your home.

The Trenton Firefighters Association would like to give a very big thank you to this young lady right here. McKenzie Williams stopped by the firehouse and made a very generous donation of $62 to the Trenton firefighters association, money that she raised from her yard sale!!
