At Trenton United Family Foundation (TUFF), we believe that making a lasting difference in the lives of our youth starts with showing up, being present, and leading by example.

We are seeking dedicated, dependable, and positive men and women ages 19 and older to volunteer with our TUFF ENUFF Empowering Network in Trenton.

Our young people need positive role models, mentors, guidance, encouragement, and individuals who genuinely care about their growth and future.

YOU DON'T HAVE TO COMMIT EVERY DAY TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE!

Whether you can give one day a week, one day every two weeks, or even one day a month, your presence can have a meaningful impact.

TRENTON, WE'RE BACK! TUFF ENUFF EMPOWERING NETWORK! 💪🏾

Last night, we officially kicked off another year of our TUFF ENUFF EMPOWERING NETWORK IN Trenton.

It was great seeing our returning students, welcoming new faces, and getting back to doing what we love, POURING INTO OUR YOUTH!

This year, we're continuing to focus on life development skills, mental health, drug awareness, financial literacy, anger management, leadership, college and career preparation, and making better decisions. And of course, we're going to have some FUN along the way!

A special thank you to Joyce Kilmer Intermediate School for continuing to support our mission, and to all the parents and guardians who showed up last night. We appreciate your trust and support!

A BIG THANK YOU TO OUR TEAM TUFF! We appreciate our dedicated team for continuing to show up, give their time, and pour into our young people. A special thank you to our TUFF WOMEN for always being present and making a difference!

STUDENTS PASS THE WORD AROUND! 📢

Tell your friends, tell your teammates, tell everybody because nobody can say they didn’t know!

We’re back at Joyce Kilmer Intermediate School and we’re ready for another year of TUFF ENUFF!

We’re coming with real conversations, mentorship, activities, food, gym time, laughs, learning and opportunities to grow.

But y’all already know… we can have FUN and still have STRUCTURE!

PARENT MEETING!!!!
NO STUDENT CAN START THE PROGRAM UNTIL WE HAVE MET WITH THEIR PARENT OR GUARDIAN.

🚫 If you are suspended from school, please DO NOT come to TUFF ENUFF.

⏰ On our normal program days, doors close at 5:15 PM! If you come after 5:15, you will be sent away. Don’t be outside looking through the window. Get there on time!

🚨TUFF GOT ANOTHER ONE STARTING TODAY! 🚨

Today, we’re excited to officially begin the TUFF Young Men of Purpose Program with INTELLIGENCE MAIN UTILITY (I.M.U.) at Joyce Kilmer Intermediate School! DAYTIME PROGRAM ONLY FOR JOYCE KILMER STUDENTS. Together, we’re coming in with one purpose: to pour into our young men through mentorship, knowledge, discipline, leadership, life skills, accountability, and real conversations that can help prepare them for life, not just school.

A huge THANK YOU to Joyce Kilmer Intermediate School for trusting us with the opportunity to work with your young men. We don’t take that trust lightly. Every opportunity to reach a young person is an opportunity to plant a seed that can impact their future.

We’re grateful to be working alongside INTELLIGENCE MAIN UTILITY, as well as the other individuals who will be a part of this program. Different people, different experiences, but one common goal: helping our young men become stronger, wiser, more disciplined, confident, and prepared to lead.

This is bigger than just showing up during lunch. We want these young men to know there are adults in their community who see them, believe in them, support them, hold them accountable, and expect greatness from them.

TODAY, WE BUILD LEADERS. TOMORROW, WE BUILD PEACEMAKERS!

Today, Trenton United Family Foundation (TUFF) is excited and truly honored to officially begin our TUFF Peace Leaders Academy at Monument Intermediate School!

This program will work directly with 4th, 5th, and 6th grade students during the school day, helping them develop the skills to become stronger leaders, better communicators, problem-solvers, and peacemakers.

For us, this is bigger than teaching lessons. We have an opportunity to pour into our young people early to help them understand respect, responsibility, accountability, integrity, self-control, teamwork, conflict resolution, and purpose.

We want our students to understand that being a leader isn't about being the loudest person in the room. Leadership is about your choices, your character, how you treat people, and what you do when nobody is watching.

We are excited about what this school year will bring, but more than anything, we are honored to be trusted with the opportunity to mentor and develop these young leaders.

Thank you to Monument Intermediate School and Trenton Public Schools for allowing TUFF to continue doing what we love, investing in our youth.

💪🏽ANOTHER CLEAN-UP COMPLETE💪🏽

Yesterday, we completed another TUFF Community Clean-Up, and first and foremost, we thank God for giving us the opportunity, strength, and people to continue serving our community.

This work is bigger than picking up trash. It’s about taking pride in our neighborhoods, teaching our youth responsibility, and showing what can happen when people come together and DO THE WORK.

A huge thank you to the City of Trenton for continuing to provide the tools and supplies we need for our monthly clean-ups. Your continued support helps make these days possible.

Thank you to Bucks Bounty for allowing us to pick up fresh produce and other items that we can give directly back to people in our community. Being able to clean the neighborhood AND put food into the hands of families means a lot to us.

And a BIG shoutout to Jerry's Pizza & Grill for ALWAYS sponsoring the pizza after our clean-ups! After everybody has been out there working, you make sure our volunteers leave with a full stomach. We truly appreciate you!

But most importantly, THANK YOU TO OUR VOLUNTEERS. You don't have to show up. You don't have to give your time. But you continue to come out and serve, and TUFF appreciates every one of you.

And to OUR YOUTH, you are special! Some of y'all complained a little yesterday 😂, but guess what? YOU STILL SHOWED UP. YOU STILL WORKED. AND YOU FINISHED! That's what matters.
Keep showing people who you are through your actions, your service, your discipline, and your willingness to give back. We enjoyed every one of you yesterday, and we're grateful for you.

This is how we build stronger communities and one another. One block, one young person, and one act of service at a time.

IF WE WANT TO CHANGE WHAT OUR YOUTH INHERIT, WE HAVE TO POUR INTO THE ADULTS TOO.

We are truly grateful to THE FATHER CENTER for welcoming our CEO, Vincent Bridgett Sr., and giving him the opportunity to pour into an incredible group of men.

At TUFF, we understand that we can’t just pour into our youth. Adults need help, support, encouragement, and guidance too.

So much of what our young people experience starts generations before them. Trauma can be passed down from grandparents to parents and then from parents to their children. If we truly want to help our youth break cycles, sometimes we have to reach the adults who are carrying those cycles too.

It was powerful being in that room and seeing grown men openly receive encouragement. Men who are working to understand that they are enough, that their past does not have to define their future, and that TODAY they can make a better decision about where their life goes from here.

Sometimes, it only takes ONE DECISION. ONE STEP. ONE DIFFERENT CHOICE. Then another one tomorrow.

That one step can put you on a road toward becoming a better man, a better father, a better partner, and most importantly, continuing to grow as a human being.

Vincent’s “A Letter to My Brothers” came from a very personal place. It wasn’t about speaking at these men, it was about speaking with them, man to man. Sharing real experiences, real mistakes, real growth, and reminding them that no matter what life has looked like up until this point, there is still an opportunity to move forward.

Thank you, The Father Center, for allowing TUFF to be part of something so meaningful. We appreciate the work you are doing with men and fathers in our community.

When we strengthen the adults, we strengthen the families. When we strengthen the families, we give our youth a stronger foundation.

We’ve been here. We’re still here. And we’re not going anywhere.

Trenton United Family Foundation (TUFF) continues to show up for our youth, families, and community. This is bigger than one program, one event, or one season. TUFF is a MOVEMENT.

From our youth programs (After School Programs, Night programs, Summer Camp and Day Programs) and mentorship to community events, outreach, neighborhood clean-ups, food giveaways, toys & clothes giveaways, and simply being there when our community needs support, we’re committed to doing the work.

Also, expanding to Willingboro, NJ.

We believe our young people need LOVE. SUPPORT. CONECTION. LEADERSHIP. STRUCTURE. DISCIPLINE. CONSISTENCY. and OPPORTUNITY. And we’re going to continue providing it.
