CHARITY SPOTLIGHT: We are honored to partner again this year with Alliance Restoration Center! This wonderful organization exists to help meet the most basic needs of the people of Trenton, through a food pantry, a monthly food distribution of 20,000 pounds for the city of Trenton, and a grocery service plan and ESL program for individual families. Your support helps them to continue serving, loving, and advocating for those who are struggling.

Today we decided to forge ahead in the pouring rain with our food distribution! Our shipment truck got stuck in the mud, we needed to get creative in reorganizing and restructuring our space inside, and things did NOT go as planned.

Life will always bring its challenges. Not every day feels glorious. But today, we are reminded of a few key things.

1. The need in our city continues to be great for consistent and healthy food options. Rain or shine, we are given the opportunity of meeting hundreds of people every month as we seek to help them feed their families. If those in need are willing to show up, we must be willing to be there when they do!

2. It takes a flexible, dedicated, and compassionate team of people to do this work. We are so thankful for our many volunteers at the Alliance Restoration Center today who distributed 20,000 lbs of food today soaking wet. 🙌🏼

3. God will provide no matter what challenges we may face. He is faithful! Even through the turns and twists of the day, His hand of provision was at work through His people.

This is His church. And today He blessed many through her!

A very special day for one of our families at the Alliance Restoration Center!

Congratulations 🎉 to Damaris and her beautiful baby boy on receiving a car as a donation from ARC!

A HUGE thank you to the Cars Ministry at Princeton Alliance Church for making this possible. We were blessed by your generosity and in turn grateful to be able to bless this family!

Damaris will now have a way to get to work and around town for all of her and her son’s needs!

Remember! Our Grocery pickups kick off again on January 10th and our large food distribution will kickoff on Wednesday, March 6th!

A gloomy day, no distributions today, but yet another 40 bag donation of great food from Mercer Street Friends is taken in. We don’t take these donations for granted! Even on days where it seems not much is going on, the Church is on the move!

Over 50 families are about to pick up their monthly groceries today. This is the final pickup of the year for our brand new community center!

We have some clothes and an assortment of coats for the winter season as well.

None of this is possible without the generosity of our founding churches 217church and Living Hope Church as well as our partners. We thank you so much!

Today we serve another 15 families! We’ve also been registering some new families that have heard about us via word of mouth. We had a team here earlier today packing the bags and a team now to receive families as they arrive. We are so thankful for those who have given to the ARC to make this happen. We are now regularly serving 115 families in East Trenton!
