Thank you to everyone who came out to support the park care series this past weekend‼️

We truly appreciate you for bringing your smiles, helping hands, and positive energy to participate in beautifying George Page Park💛

We were able to plant 24 flower bunches in the tree beds on the perimeter of the park and paint a new trilingual hopscotch for all children to enjoy!

Special shout out to our volunteers, members of the .dep and our executive director Shauna Ike for donating your art skills and time to this cause.

We look forward to collaborating and keeping this initiative going in the future😊

What to Expect at Tomorrow’s Event‼️

Meet the Culture Change staff for check in at 10:45am where you will sign in, receive a high visibility safety vest, and supplies for your assigned area.

Once everyone is checked in, prepare for a day of positive vibes as we add flowers and new additions to the beloved George Page Park!!

Ms.Tina will greet all youth at the Kindess Corner, and provide assistance with rock painting. After your rock is dry, you will be invited to place it in the park where your picture or message of kindness will be discovered by a visitor next time they stop by the park!

We encourage local non profit organizations to join us for networking and community fellowship as we show our pride for keeping our parks green🌱

Join us on Sunday, May 31st at George Page Park for rock and hopscotch painting, flower planting and light barbecue bites!!

A pop of color and some helping hands go a long way‼️

On May 24th we’ll be planting flowers around the tree beds in the photo you see below and adding a new hopscotch play space to George Page Park.

Last night was a huge milestone in our Culture Change journey as we publicly accepted our first grant from I Am Trenton!🎉

We now have the honor of sharing $9,500 with the young artists of Mercer County to deliver a permanent art installation in downtown Trenton via the “Trenton Then, Now, Next” project.

This will include artwork created solely by Mercer County youth as part of the Downtown 2026 NJ250 Trenton Special Projects grant offerings.

This youth-led public art display will use visual panels and QR-linked audio narratives to bridge the city’s history with the lived experiences and future visions of its young residents.
