Hello everyone, the holidays are quickly approaching and we need your help! We are looking to do a couple projects this year for the holidays we are going to do Christmas care bags for rehab patients (new spinal cord injury, stroke, brain injury, and amputees.) who will be spending the holidays in the hospital. We are also wanting to donate a firefly to a patient(wheelchair user) at Mayo Clinic to make life just a little easier. We are looking for donors and sponsors to do this as we also have our normal operating expenses we have to consider as our founder is currently at mayo herself for sometime. Together we continue to help individuals going through trying medical times. Let’s help make Christmas alittle more joyful for those going through trying times. I will also make a post with a Christmas sunshine list as well! Then stay tuned as we will post pictures upon delivery!

Hello everyone it’s not too late to pledge per mile to donate for how far our founder will wheel in September (spinal cord injury awareness month) all donations will help us buy items for individuals up at spinal cord injury rehabilitation at Mayo Clinic as well as to do an equipment grant. Last year our founder wheeled over 150 miles! Hello all!!! We need your help we are wanting to donate 20 inspirational blankets and a gaming system to the Mayo Clinic rehabilitation floor and we need sponsors/donors to do so! Who is with us?!? Sometimes having something as simple as a cozy blanket when you are stuck in the hospital for a long amount of time makes your hospital room feel a little more cozy. Donate on the website 😊

Hello everyone bags have been dropped off to be delivered to individuals at the mayo rehabilitation unit as it can be a long exhausting and sometimes lonely stay when recovering from spinal cord injuries or brain trauma. Stay tuned as we fundraise to deliver more of them 😊

Hello everyone we are getting ready to head up to Mayo Clinic in ten days and I would like to take as many family care bags and spinal cord injury bags as we can with us to hand out to those in need so if you can donate towards our goal that would be amazing each one of these bags cost us $50-75 and we are also in need of snacks to go in the bags. These smiles are what it is all about!
First if you’re wondering what your donations do this is it right here this lil guy is courageously fighting brain cancer and the removal of the tumor led to some personality, speech and motor changes but he is making a comeback.
Second what can you do to help you ask? Well you can donate supplies for our sunshine boxes; you can donate shipping cost as every time we send a box or a bag it costs us 15-45 dollars, you can volunteer to help us pack sunshine boxes and care bags, or you can come to one of our events such as our upcoming walk October 4th (stay tuned for the upcoming reveals).
