Join us for a gentle and meaningful gathering: Death Café — A Conversation About Life & Death.

Held in our cozy upstairs ritual room at Blessed Be Tea & Apothecary, this hour-long circle invites open, heartfelt conversation in a space rooted in warmth, respect, and community care.

A Death Café is not about darkness or morbidity—it is about connection, curiosity, and honoring the natural cycle of life. Together, we create space to speak openly about death in a way that is thoughtful, supportive, and often surprisingly uplifting.

There is no agenda, no presentation, and no pressure—just honest conversation shared in a calm, comfortable atmosphere. Come as you are, and share as much or as little as you feel called to.

Earth Stewardship

Many witches speak of honoring Mother Earth through ritual and intention. This month, we'll honor her through service.

We hope you'll join us in helping our community recover from one of its busiest weeks of the year while showing a little love to the land that gives us so much.

As witches, pagans, and earth-centered folk, we recognize that our connection to nature goes beyond appreciation—it calls us to action. The Earth Stewardship Meet-Up is a monthly opportunity to gather in service to the land, giving back to the natural spaces that support and sustain us.

Each month, we will meet at a location in and around the Traverse City area to participate in environmental stewardship projects such as litter cleanups, habitat restoration, invasive species removal, community beautification efforts, and other acts of service for Mother Earth.

Because the needs of the land change throughout the year, our meeting locations and projects will vary from month to month. Please follow this page and join our

No special experience is required—just a willingness to help, connect with community, and honor the Earth through meaningful action. Whether you can stay for 30 minutes or several hours, your contribution matters.

Together, we can put our values into practice and leave the places we love a little better than we found them.

Please wear comfortable clothing suitable for the weather, bring work gloves if you have them, and don't forget water and sun protection.

Join us for a special edition of Dead Poets Society, reflecting on the concept of "Memory"- Dictionary

Memory refers to the mental faculty of encoding, storing, and retrieving information, experiences, and skills over time. It is the foundation of learning and personal identity, allowing past events to influence future actions.

Details:

Suggested Donation: $5-$10 (Donations help keep our community events going, but they are not required to attend.)

Upon arrival, we will gather in a circle and take turns reading poetry in a round-robin style. Poetry may come from poets dead or alive, and our favorites are your own original works! Participation is encouraged but not mandatory—you’re welcome to pass if you don’t have a poem to share. However, it’s always more fun to join in!

Dead Poets Society is a community-based, open-mic style poetry reading event. At Blessed Be, we believe in the power of words and the importance of creating a sacred space for expression. While our group focuses on poetry, we also welcome writers, musicians, and all performance artists to share both mainstream and original works.

Important Note: This event is not specifically geared for children. We ask that parents use discretion when bringing kids, as poetry can sometimes touch on sensitive topics. The event is recommended for ages 15 and up.

This gathering forms organically, and all are welcome! Walk-ins and tag-a-long friends are always welcome.

New Moon Party

Step into the quiet magic of the Full Moon and gather with us.

Join the Conscious Community Coven at Blessed Be Tea on September 10th from 6–8 PM for a cozy, open-house Full Moon Party designed for connection, reflection, and community. This is a family-friendly, come-as-you-please evening—no pressure, no agenda—just a gentle space to set intentions, enjoy light snacks, and be together. Featuring Fairy Hair from Crystal Swag, and Henna with Ethereal Esthetics!

We will be working on a community line poem too! :)

Coven members will be present throughout the night to chat, answer questions, and connect. Whether you stay for five minutes or the full two hours, you’re welcome exactly as you are.

The Conscious Community Coven belongs to all of us—and building a strong, healthy community means being willing to listen, share ideas, and show up for one another.

So, we’re opening our monthly Coven Board Meetings to our community.

You don’t have to be a Board member to attend. Whether you’re an active Coven member, a volunteer, a supporter, or simply curious about what we’re building together, you are welcome at the table.

Come see what the Board is working on, learn more about what’s happening behind the scenes, and—during our Public Comment period—share your questions, ideas, concerns, encouragement, or dreams for the Coven.

In person is preferred, but if you would like to join us virtually through the Coven Discord, please message us so that we can set up a link for attendance.
We’ll publish the meeting agenda ahead of time so you can see what’s on the table and come prepared to participate.

This is an opportunity for transparency, connection, and conversation. The Board has the responsibility of governing the Coven, but community input matters. We want to hear from the people who make this community what it is.
