Join us for a special Prosperity Ritual on May 31st at 5 PM, designed to welcome abundance and success into your creative and professional life. While everyone is welcome, we’re especially gearing this event toward makers, artists, entrepreneurs, and business owners who are ready to grow and thrive. This event is free to attend — just bring a single dollar bill and a business card to participate in the ritual. We'll be focusing our collective energy on prosperity, connection, and opportunity by making a special batch of Money Rice. Come cast a little magick for your dreams and your future!

Holding the Flame — A Monthly Virtual Roundtable

This is a virtual gathering held on the Conscious Community Coven’s Discord. This month, we’re taking a look at capitalism in the world of magick. Can these two concepts exist together? How does one "sell spirituality" and should you? We will be looking at the pros and cons of selling magick in a world desperate for change.

This will be an open, conversational forum rooted in reflection, shared experience, and gentle insight.

Email us at [email protected] for our Discord access code, or stop in the store.

Every third Thursday, we gather on our Coven Discord for Holding the Flame: a monthly virtual roundtable created to deepen connection, spark meaningful conversation, and strengthen community beyond ritual or administration.

This is an elder-facilitated, community-centered space. There is no teaching, no hierarchy, and no expectation to have the “right” answers. Instead, we come together to listen, reflect, and engage in thoughtful, respectful dialogue around witchcraft and spiritual life as it’s actually lived.

This space is for:
• Honest, grounded discussion of spiritual and witchcraft themes
• Healthy disagreement and gentle expansion of perspective
• Sharing experiences, questions, shadows, and insights without pressure
• Building trust and cohesion in a low-pressure, accessible virtual format
• Creating a consistent place to land, reflect, and grow together

This is not a ritual, a class, or a decision-making forum. It is a space for presence, conversation, and mutual understanding—held with care and intention.

Every Third Thursday

Held on our Coven Discord

The Conscious Community Coven Welcomes you to Dead Poets Society
Event Theme: Sanctuary

Join us for a special edition of Dead Poets Society, reflecting on the concept of "Sanctuary" - Dictionary Definitions : sanc·tu·ar·y /ˈsaNGk(t)SHo͝oˌerē/
noun
1. 1.a place of refuge or safety."his sons took sanctuary in the church"
2. 2.a nature reserve."a bird sanctuary"

Details:
Date: May 9th and Every 2nd Saturday of the Month
Location: Blessed Be Tea and Apothecary 116 E Front St
Time: 6PM - 7 PM
Suggested Donation: $5-$10 (Donations help keep our community events going, but they are not required to attend.)

Upon arrival, we will gather in a circle and take turns reading poetry in a round-robin style. Poetry may come from poets dead or alive, and our favorites are your own original works! Participation is encouraged but not mandatory—you’re welcome to pass if you don’t have a poem to share. However, it’s always more fun to join in!

Dead Poets Society is a community-based, open-mic style poetry reading event.

At Blessed Be, we believe in the power of words and the importance of creating a sacred space for expression. While our group focuses on poetry, we also welcome writers, musicians, and all performance artists to share both mainstream and original works.

Important Note: This event is not specifically geared for children. We ask that parents use discretion when bringing kids, as poetry can sometimes touch on sensitive topics. The event is recommended for ages 15 and up.

What to Expect: Led by Allie Robinson-Ollila, this gathering forms organically, and all are welcome! Walk-ins and tag-a-long friends are always welcome.

Come and be part of our poetic community, where words come alive and everyone’s voice is heard!

This May, our very own Rev. Bellamy Black will be joining the community at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Grand Traverse for their Beltane service, where she has been invited to share a few thoughts on the power of fire.

Unitarian Universalism is a space rooted in love, curiosity, justice, and deep respect for the many paths that bring us to meaning. It’s a community that makes room for questioning, for growth, and for showing up exactly as you are—whether you’re grounded in a specific tradition or simply exploring.

If you’ve ever felt called to be in a space that honors both individuality and connection, this might be one worth experiencing.

We’ll gather on Sunday, May 3rd at 10:30 AM. I’d love to see some familiar faces there—but more than that, I hope each of you continues to find and build community wherever your spirit feels most at home.

Deep gratitude to the UU community for the work they do and the space they hold.
