WHAT’S THIS WEEKEND ALL ABOUT?
Michigan has a long culture of sauna and other thermal therapies. We wanted to create an event to celebrate that, while giving people a way to warm up, gather together, and have some fun in these cold Spring months.

SOUNDS FUN! HOW DO I PARTICIPATE?
We’re taking over the whole Clinch Park parking lot. We’ll have games, music, firepits, NA beverages, food trucks, and more!

The Sauna Peninsula (on the East side of the Marina Parking Lot) requires a pass to enjoy and explore the different saunas. We have 90-minute sessions scattered throughout Saturday and Sunday. You can book on our website, or if there is space left, walk-ins are welcome on the day of.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
It’ll be chilly outside, so bundle up! If you’re going to enjoy the sauna, clothing is required and most people wear a swimsuit. We’ll have changing tents on site.

WHAT SHOULD I BRING (OR NOT BRING)?
You won’t need much to enjoy the public part of the festival, just some warm clothes and good boots! Bring along cash or a card if you’d like to purchase festival merch, or food from one of the food trucks.

For the sauna, bring 2 towels, water, sandals to move between saunas / the bay, and whatever you’re wearing.

Per our permit, alcohol is not allowed at the festival.

I’M HUNGRY AND THIRSTY - WHAT ARE MY OPTIONS?
We’ll have beverages from Higher Grounds, Shorts, Cultured Kombucha, and Sauna Water. Peace Love and Little Donuts will have a donut station Sat and Sun morning, and we’ll have Phat Matt’s food truck and Kumite ramen all Saturday and Sunday!

That’s why we offer portable saunas that you can rent and set-up anywhere you want - year-round. Your favorite beach, crowded in a blanket of snow? A creek-side retreat, nestled in the woods? Stargazing on an August afternoon? Summer doesn’t have to be the only time you feel the warmth of the outdoors.

Hearth Sauna is a wood-fired sauna and cold plunge experience, created to help our community find physical, mental, and social health through the practice of thermal therapy. MSF participating sauna highlight: .sauna
Juniper and Co. Mobile Sauna was built to create real community connection through sauna. The goal is to create a space that opens conversation, fosters presence, and brings people together. Founded in 2025 and built by hand in Kalamazoo, MI, the sauna is named after my daughter who inspires me to be present, stay healthy, and build something meaningful.

The Juniper and Co. Sauna houses a sturdy Harvia Legend 150 Wood-burning stove with around 300 lbs of stones. It is built on the frame of a 7x14 enclosed trailer. The interior is clad in Cedar T&G and Cedar trim with a large picture window, allowing a great view and plenty of natural light. The hot room has an L-shaped high bench and low bench with LED downlighting, fitting 10-12 people at a time. The trailer is outfitted with a changing room and transition space with space to stow towels and bags. The exterior of the sauna is meant to give the feeling of a traditional wood-built sauna structure and is fully clad in pine board.

Founded by Alisa Cardenas, Howl At The Moon Sauna Co. is a growing wellness brand and mobile sauna company bringing the warmth of sauna culture to the heart of West Michigan and beyond. Born from the love of the outdoors and a deep appreciation for wellness, we are on a mission to nurture physical, mental, and social well-being, through the shared joy of heat and connection.

The Wildflower by Howl at the Moon Sauna Co. is a bespoke creation handcrafted in Michigan by Timber Sauna Co. The Wildflower was thoughtfully reimagined from a vintage horse trailer into a design forward, 6–8 person authentic Finnish sauna. Clad in cedar inside and out, this wood-fired mobile sauna features a Mini IKI Pro heater delivering the deep, soft heat (löyly) that sauna lovers crave.
