🥏 One Final Round for the BrickWays Disc Golf Club!

What a finish to our first season! We wrapped up our inaugural Disc Golf Club with an end-of-year tournament at Maple Grove in Lake City. The competition was close enough that we found ourselves playing the final few holes in the dark to determine our champion!

🏆 Congratulations to our tournament winners!

- 1st Place: Abe Haack
- Runner-Up: Tony O'Connor
- Most Improved Player: Tony O'Connor

After the tournament, we headed to the Tap House in Lake City for dinner, where we were joined by a special guest, Boo Larsen, our longtime maintenance team member who retired earlier this year!

A huge thank-you to Aloft Disc Golf for supporting our club through their Throw It Forward campaign! Aloft generously provided all the discs and bags pictured in our prize photo, along with additional discs for future activities. Their contribution helped make our first tournament a memorable one!

What started as a new activity this summer became a weekly opportunity for our residents to challenge themselves, develop new skills, build friendships, and enjoy the outdoors.

We're proud of everyone who participated in our first season and already looking forward to making year two even better!

💀 We've got some new residents at BrickWays... but they're looking a little thin! 🎃

As part of our October Halloween festivities, skeletons have been hiding around our properties, waiting to be discovered!

Residents are on the hunt, snapping selfies with their bony new friends to earn stamps in their Halloween Pumpkin Passports. The more stamps they collect throughout October, the bigger the prizes!

Check out some of our residents getting into the Halloween spirit! 📸👻

🎃 Halloween has taken over the BrickWays office!

Throughout October, residents can take part in our Halloween Spooky Passport, earning points for activities and working their way toward different prize levels.
Every Tuesday and Thursday, residents can also stop by the office for Trick-or-Treat—answer the question of the day, grab a treat or prize, and earn another stamp toward the month.
We also have Movie Night Mondays, c***r and donuts, our Halloween Dance on October 30th, and a few more things planned along the way.
A big thank you to our resident Halloween extraordinaire, Emily, who put a lot of time into decorating the office and helping plan a fun October for everyone. The office looks awesome! 🎃🕸️👻

🥏 Two Weeks Left of Disc Golf Club!
We spent last week in Kingsley, and the putting was on point! Several long putts found the basket, including Tony’s first birdie of the season — a great moment after a summer of playing and improving.
This week we’re back at TC High, and then it’s tournament time! Next week we’ll close out the season with our final tournament, prizes, and dinner to celebrate a summer of disc golf.
Two rounds left. Let’s see how everyone finishes! 🥏🏆

🥏 Disc Golf Club is Heading Into Its Final Weeks

What started as a summer activity has turned into something more for several of our residents. We’ve seen personal bests, longer throws, new discs added to the bags, and residents discovering a hobby they genuinely enjoy.

October 8 will close out the season with our tournament🏆, prizes, and dinner.🌮

This is a chance to recognize everyone’s progress and celebrate a summer spent outside, staying active, and building friendships. 👐

Want to help make activities like this possible? Whether you’d like to sponsor some tournament prizes, the celebration dinner, another resident activity, or you have an idea that connects with something you’re passionate about, we’d love to hear from you! 🫵

📱 Call or text Director Ray Horton at 231-632-2745 to get involved.
