Have you ever heard of necromass? 🌱 While the name may sound unusual, necromass refers to the remains of dead microorganisms that stay in the soil after they complete their life cycle.

As organic materials break down, countless microorganisms help with decomposition. Even after these microbes die, their remains become part of the soil structure and play an important role in building healthy, resilient soil over time.

It's a reminder that some of the most important processes in nature happen on a microscopic level, completely out of sight.
