pre-order available for plant dyed silk pillowcases - $55 each (local Northern Michigan, otherwise expect additional shipping cost)

Handmade in Leelanau County

Hand-dyed using plants grown or collected by me on 100% mulberry silk standard sized pillow cases with hidden zippers.

Benefits:
Silk pillowcases have shown many benefits for your hair (less tangling, frizz, and breakage, more moisture) and skin (more moisture, cleaner pores, less wrinkles, and doesn’t absorb lotions and oils like other fabrics). Silk is also cooling.

Care Instructions:
Ideally, hand wash with cold water in the sink with a pea size amount of mild detergent. Line dry. Expect subtle color fading over time, as these are plant-based dyes.

We suppose it’s time to let you know that we’ve stepped away from the SEEDS property this year. We’ve been building our home and hope to start prepping our land for a big garden. (Oh and finish the house) 💙
Don’t worry we will have our hands in some soil helping friends and continuing seed saving!

Coming up!

Join us and the Northwest Michigan Invasive Species Network for our 2nd Annual Community Seed Swap on Saturday, March 19th from 10:00am - 2:00pm under the pavilion at the Boardman River Nature Center!

This a great opportunity to meet other growers in the region while swapping stories, seeds, and gardening tips. ISN Coordinator Audrey Menninga will also be onsite with more information on avoiding invasive species, planting native, and the Go Beyond Beauty program.

Registration Required. Please visit: www.natureiscalling.org/events
