Children learn best through play, and games can be a powerful way to teach self-regulation skills. Simple activities like Freeze Dance, Red Light Green Light, and Simon Says help children practice impulse control, listening, patience, and emotional regulation in a fun and engaging way. Through play, children learn how to pause, follow directions, manage excitement, and adapt to changes. These skills are essential for success in school, relationships, and everyday life. Games also create opportunities for connection, cooperation, and problem-solving with peers and caregivers. When self-regulation is taught through playful experiences, children are more likely to stay engaged and build these important skills naturally over time.

"IEP: A Closer Look" is offered once a month at different times of day, even during the summer!

Get a better understanding of your child's IEP by taking a closer look at the core areas and how they build on each other. This workshop can help you:

☀️ take a more in depth look at the key sections of the IEP
☀️ prioritize your greatest concerns
☀️ learn how to address those concerns through the IEP process

Time is set aside every month to answer attendee questions.
