Come join us to help this population of folks who have been underserved for so very long. The Wellspring Healthcare Foundation (WHF) is a nonprofit entity that was founded in 2018 by our board of directors, who are volunteers that live, work, and raise their families in the local communities. WHF strives to provide comprehensive health services to our local community members who suffer from mental
illness, with a special focus on substance abuse disorders (SUD). We serve as our own fiduciary, managing our own assets and funds to promote healing and recovery from substance abuse disorders (SUD) and other mental illness. The vision of the WHF is to develop and construct a community-supported comprehensive health and recovery center that focuses on healing individuals and families affected by SUD and mental illness through long-term partnerships, serving as a prototype worldwide. We are committed to providing community education on substance abuse and mental illness, facilitating the distribution and importance of Narcan kits, and ending the stigma associated with substance abuse an mental health issues. WHF understands that these illnesses require lifelong comprehensive healing and treatment of the mind, body, and soul. We are dedicated to working with our local communities, that consist of Grand Traverse, Wexford, Missaukee, Kalkaska, Mecosta, Lake, Osceola and surrounding Michigan counties, by providing compassionate care to each person who walks through our doors.
