Of all the great pitches, the audience voted for Prelude, a drone first response system.
A 911 dispatch triggers an automatic launch: the drone delivers lifesaving tools on scene immediately — including an AED defibrillator (to restart the heart after a heart attack) and naloxone (overdose reversal medication) — while live streaming HD video to the 911 dispatch to begin guided treatment until ground units arrive. This is especially critical in servicing more rural and remote areas in northern Michigan and the Upper Peninsula, where 911 emergency response times can run over 45 minutes.
