Vasa Ski Club will be at Friday Night Live this Friday, August 14th. Stop by our booth and learn about upcoming events and programs. The Raptors will be showing off their agility skills on roller skis. See you downtown!

Thanks to club members Kathy and Tim along with board members Jen and Jack for manning the concession stand at Interlochen yesterday. The team had fun and raised funds for the club. Bravo!

They say skiers are made in the summer. The Raptors spent three nights and days in the Sleeping Bear National Lakeshore roller skiing, cycling and hiking the trails. This photo was taken after they cooled off in Lake Michigan post their morning workout.

Thank you for all coming and supporting Coach K as he was honored for all of his volunteer work he does at Hickory Meadows and Hickory Hills. Nordic skiing with be nothing without his dedication to the sport.

Our Coach John Kosstrzewa will be awarded the Biederman Award this Wednesday June 3rd at 6:30pm the Barns in the Botanical Gardens. Please come and support the person who gives so much to the Nordic Community. Congrats Coach K!

Bayshore Marathon Aid Station: VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!

Skiers - the Bayshore marathon is less than one month away and the VASA Ski Club needs your help! Join us in our annual tradition as we run one of the aid stations along the marathon route. This year the race is Saturday, May 23rd. This event is very rewarding, as we get to be cheer on runners and be an important part of an exciting event in our local community!

Whether you're a marathon runner yourself or just love to cheer on our Traverse City community, we need your help! We are looking for at least 30 volunteers to assist with our aid station for several hours. If you are interested, please fill out the google form.

Worker Bee session rescheduled for tomorrow April 24 9:30am at Hickory Hills Wax Trailer. Please come and help us put the rental fleet away for the season. We could really use your help!

THIS HAS BEEN CANCELLED~!!!!!!!!!! Worker Bee session to get the rental fleet put away for the season. Everyone is invited to come lend a helping hand even if you have never waxed there are plenty of other jobs that can assist those who are waxing. Please bring brushes, wax irons, benches, extension cords and a smiling face. This will take place April 23, 2026 beginning at 4pm Hickory Hills Wax Trailer.
