Our size belies the scope of the work we do. This is exactly what On the Ground is changing. By investing in women, communities begin to flourish. The local economies improve and families tend to be more harmonious.

Let’s invest in women in 2025!

Agents of change. Women, gender-diverse groups, and Indigenous peoples, drive political change within their communities, countries, and regions. Emergency action needed now!
The Democratic Republic of Congo is facing a major refugee crisis. Hundreds of thousands of Congolese people are being forced to flee their homes and abandon their livelihoods.
Over 500 Muungano Coffee Cooperative farmers we support have been displaced by the continued conflict between the Congolese Government and the M23 terrorist group. They need our support now more than ever.

Your donation will go towards materials for shelters, basic food supplies, textiles for clothing, hygiene kits, and cooking supplies.

Every little bit of your support helps. Please donate today and show your compassion for those affected by this ongoing tragedy. Together, we can make a difference. Support Muungano Cooperative Farmers in the DRC Across the Eastern Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) violent conflict and an ensuing h...

We have the largest group of participants in our Gender Equity Program that we have ever had! In total, we have 412. These incredible participants are not only doing the work to change their lives but also the lives of their children for generations to come. The values learned over the year-long program will be implemented into their communities.

When women thrive, communities thrive. Everyone here at On the Ground is incredibly excited to see these women, families, and communities flourish!
