Due to a change in staffing, for the foreseeable future our hours have changed to Mon, Tues and Weds from 1 to 5.

We will be closed on Memorial Day but we will be open Saturday, May 30th from 10 to 1. Lots of new bikes have come in. We have several kinds of carbon roads bikes, several step thrus and even 2 fat tire bikes among many others. Come find your next ride.

We have lots of available bikes so we will be holding Saturday Sales at our shop at 1220 Woodmere. We will also be accepting donated bikes.

Since 2011, TART Trails and Recycle-A-Bicycle have hosted a community Bike Swap. The Swap has been a successful and fulfilling experience, with thousands of bikes finding new homes. Looking to the future, we carefully reviewed the financial impact, as well as the time and energy required from the Recycle-A-Bicycle volunteers and TART Trails staff to host the Swap. After this review and speaking with a collection of volunteers, we decided not to host a 2026 Bicycle Swap. It wasn't an easy decision, but one guided by thoughtful reflection on how to best support volunteers, staff, and the community we care so deeply about.

RAB's bicycle sales are a key part of funding our voucher program. These sales allow us to provide free bikes and repairs for the area’s economically disadvantaged. To promote bike sales and make it easier to schedule a visit to RAB, we will be adding several Saturday sale events in the spring and summer at our workshop on Woodmere Avenue. We will also be accepting bicycle donations during the Saturday events, but we will not be able to sell bikes on commission at these events.
