Isle Royal dive trip on the bucket list!

When you think of reefs, Lake Superior may not be the first location that comes to mind.

Instead, you may think of colorful fish swimming around coral reefs in the azure blue waters of the tropics. You may be surprised that Lake Superior has reefs too!

The combined clarity of Lake Superior and the shallow reefs surrounding Isle Royale create a vibrant display of colors in the water. Together, they form a safe habitat from the powerful effects of the big lake and offer protection for native fish species to spawn.

Snorkel camp has ended for the season 🥺

But we will still be out playing and snorkeling around for some free family snorkel nights as the weather allows!

I’m very proud of all the campers and all the things they taught me 😃 We picked up tons of trash from our Great Lakes, were awesome explorers, and great buddies to each other💙
