Scouting for Food starts next Saturday, February 3rd, with units dropping off bags in their neighborhoods. If your unit still needs bags and flyers, click on the link below.

Scouting for Food is a ongoing annual program of the Boy Scouts of America, begun in 1985 by the Greater Saint Louis Area Council. The program involves collecting for local food banks. It is organized at the local level throughout the country.

On February 3rd, Scout Units will put out bags and flyers in their neighborhoods asking for food donations. Units may also collect donations at their neighborhood grocery store. Units must have permission from store management before collecting donations.

On February 10th, units will revisit the neighborhoods they left the bags and collect them for drop off at the food pantry of their choice. "Units may choose an alternate date if the 3rd and 10th doesn't work for your unit"

🎄 Recycle Your Christmas Tree for a Great Cause with Troop 36! 🌳

This Christmas season, Troop 36 is on a mission to give back to nature and our community! We're collecting Christmas trees to transform them into thriving fish habitats in local ponds. It's an eco-friendly way to dispose of your tree and support local wildlife!

What We Do:

🚚 Pickup: We'll come to your curb to collect your Christmas tree.
🐟 Eco-Friendly Recycling: Trees will be placed in local ponds to create natural fish habitats.
🌲 Preparation Requirements: Please ensure your tree is free of ornaments, tinsel, and metal wires.

Why Participate?

🌍 Environmentally Responsible: An excellent way to ecologically dispose of your Christmas tree.
👫 Support Local Scouts: All funds collected will help our scouts attend Summer Camp, participate in High Adventure Treks, and allow the Troop to acquire new gear.

How to Sign Up:

📲 Easy Online Registration: Just click the link below to schedule your tree pickup.
📞 Questions or Direct Contact: Feel free to call or text Scoutmaster Dylan at (803) 530-6920.
