The Lord's Locker for such a time as this

Big thing happening at our CommUNITY Building next door to our Family Resource Center.

About 12 years ago we were given the old Trafalgar Methodist Church. It had some major water damage in the basement,including black mold & up to 5" of water when we had a big rain. A lot has been done over the last 10 years We had remediation to cleanse the black mold immediately. Then several projects to fix the flooding has been accomplished.

NOW, because of our generous financial donors we are able to begin the basement restoration.

Work began 3/26/26 & should be completed within a week by "Dry Ground Restoration".

These photos help show just part of the thorough preparation & start of the project.

We are thankful for Dry Ground Restoration helping us restore & maintain our 123 year old building that we were blessed to inherit.

To GOD be the glory! Great things HE has done & is doing at The Lord's Locker for such a time as this !

Midwest Food Bank Indiana is an incredible help in keeping our pantry stocked for our Wednesday Guests from Johnson, and Morgan counties in our 2 programs at 9:00 & 12:00.

Every day, fresh food is thrown away while families in our community struggle to put meals on the table.

MFB rescues surplus food from farmers, grocers, and partners, and redirects it to local pantries and shelters serving neighbors in need.

When you give or volunteer, you help turn surplus into provision.

February 13, 2013 Emmalea Butler officially accepted the position of Executive Director of The Lord's Locker, Inc and added the tagline, "for such a time as this".
In the 13 years since, GOD has grown this non-profit ministry to meet physical and spiritual needs and to grow relationships with families and friends we serve in Johnson, Brown and Morgan counties. Its been great to meet wonderful donors & also add outreaches and build relationships in our Trafalgar area with schools & businesses.

It's been an honor to serve alongside of another nearly 40 passionate volunteers who invest their time & talent to become the hands & feet of JESUS serving others to glorify HIM. ❤️

Do to inclement weather, official road travel restrictions, & safety for our volunteers, The Lord's Locker will be closed this Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday. We will reopen Monday, February 2nd.
