🚨 Concessions Volunteers Needed Tonight! 🚨

We are looking for volunteers to help in the concession stands at all locations tonight: Trafalgar, Princes Lakes, and Morgantown.

Our biggest demand is at Morgantown, so if you’re available, that’s where we could use the most help!

Any amount of time you can give is greatly appreciated and helps keep things running smoothly for our players and families.

âšľ Volunteers Needed! âšľ

We need volunteers for the Trafalgar concession stand tonight starting at 5:30PM for our two 6U games or we will not be able to operate this location tonight.

We will also need volunteers on Tuesday and Wednesday at all locations: Trafalgar, Morgantown, and Princes Lakes.

⚾️ Once again, due to the amount of games at Princes Lakes tonight, the town is asking everyone to please park at the church or town hall and carpool down to the fields to help decrease congestion in the parking lot.

Due to the weather and impending storms this evening all games at Trafalgar, Princes Lakes and Morgantown have been cancelled.

The voting members of the Indian Creek Youth League Board recently met to discuss the continued operations of the league and the best path forward for ensuring a successful remainder of the season.

At this time, the league currently has eight voting board members:
• Erica Blackwell
• Ross Stewart
• Wes Young
• Alex Bell
• Nate Bryant
• Shawn Murray
• Hannah McClellan
• Leslie Haddan

With the board’s primary obligation being the continuation of the season, the decision was made to forgo any title changes during the middle of league play. Instead, responsibilities have been redistributed amongst board members in an effort to better balance workloads and strengthen day-to-day league operations.

Additionally, the six volunteers who expressed interest during the last meeting will be contacted regarding opportunities to assist the league through field maintenance, concession stand operations, and other support roles throughout the season.

As the board continues working through restructuring efforts and updates to league bylaws, plans are being made to hold a community-based meeting in July to allow for additional community input.

We appreciate everyone who continues to volunteer their time, share their ideas, and support the league.

We are in need of concession stand volunteers tonight starting at 5:30 PM at Morgantown.
***PL is now covered***
Unfortunately, if we cannot get enough volunteers, concessions at these locations will have to remain closed tonight as board members are already having to cover other spots in between their own games and responsibilities.

Due to the amount of games and spectators tonight at Princes Lakes, the town asks that you please park at the church or Town Hall for over flow and carpool down if possible.

We have heard your concerns regarding a decision the board made last week and are looking forward to rectifying it. We have communicated with everyone involved and have set a public board meeting Tuesday May 5th at 6:00pm located at the Trafalgar Community Center. With the expected rain forecast this should work for everyone. In the event the forecast changes we will update the date and time accordingly. We will be unable to live stream the meeting but will post the signed meeting minutes within 48 hours after the meeting. If you have concerns and will be unable to attend please post your concern in the comment section and we will try to address it during the meeting.

Opening Night was a win on and off the field!!

Huge shoutout to Hadwell Hardware for running our concession stand and handling everything from hot dogs and popcorn to manning the register from open to close.

And a big thank you to GMG Motors for the cash donations that helped us make some awesome upgrades this season.

We couldn’t do it without support like this from our dear friends in the community, we love you all!
