CenCal Athletics is proud to announce Derek Leytem as our new Director of Baseball Operations.

As we continue building the future of our program, it was important for us to bring in someone we fully trust. Someone who shares the same morals, values, believes in developing kids the right way, and truly understands our mission.

Derek has been part of our journey since 2018. Over the years, we’ve seen firsthand his passion for the game, his commitment to player development, and the character he brings both on and off the field.

This program has always been bigger than baseball. It’s about building confident athletes, strong character, and a culture families can believe in. We’re excited for this next chapter and confident that with Derek’s leadership, passion, and vision alongside ours, we’re going to continue building something special.
