Thank you, Stockton Astronomical Society for the amazing time at Shumway Oak Grove Park tonight, where our Scouts enjoyed viewing the stars (and Saturn!) at the conclusion of our stargazer night hike! Our Scouts were so excited to learn about the different telescopes you brought, and about the amazing night sky!

And thank you, Scouts, for your demonstration of the Outdoor Code by picking up some trash in the parking lot before the hike! Great job, Scouts!

A Scout is Helpful!

This morning, Scouts from Pack 525 participated in Tracy Earth Project's tree planting event, where they assisted in a project to plant over 60 trees at Clyde Bland Park! The Cubs worked in teams so well that they even finished early!

Scouting is even more fun with friends!

This fall, Scouting America Outfitters is bringing back the FREE Recruiter Strip Emblem promotion for 2026! Cub Scouts, Scouts BSA members, and other Scouts can earn this special patch by inviting a friend to experience the fun, adventure, and excitement of Scouting.

Here’s how it works:

✅ Invite a Friend - A Scout brings a friend to a den, pack, or troop meeting and introduces them to Scouting!

✅ Get Signed Up - When the new Scout officially joins, the Scout who invited them completes the special Recruiter promo flyer or postcard. These are found in the 2026 Cub Scout Welcome Kit and at local Scout shops.

✅ Claim the Patch - The Scout takes the card to the local Scout shop and receives a FREE Recruiter Strip Emblem!

It’s simple: Invite. Welcome. Earn.

Encourage Scouts to bring a friend along for the adventure and earn a special patch along the way!

A scout is reverent. Today Cub Scouts from Pack 525, along side Scouts from BSA Troop 525, assisted Tracy Elks Lodge with their Annual Flag Day ceremony.

Today we celebrate the mothers, grandmothers, guardians, and mother figures who support our Cub Scouts’ growth and confidence as they learn to explore their world and their very important role in it. ❤️💐

Whether you’re volunteering every event or making sure your Scout gets to the next meeting, your support matters more than you know.

Happy Mother’s Day from Pack 525!
