Yesterday’s 24th Kids In A Box event, which benefits McHenry House, was awesome!! Great turnout, with creative boxes, building awareness of homelessness, tours of the facility, cool tunes, snow cones, nachos ~ All in all, it was definitely a fun FUNdraiser!
Big THANK YOU to all who participated and contributed to make it a big success!

📦 It begins with a box ~ What will you imagine yours to be? Get creative, at the 22nd Annual Virtual Kids in a Box virtual event! 📦

Your support benefits the McHenry House Tracy Family Shelter. This year you have the opportunity to participate by donating and/or to build your box as an individual or as a team on your own time schedule as long as it is submitted before the deadline on September 7th, 2021!

Participation is just three easy steps:

1) Register using the form at https://www.mchenryhousetracy.org/kib.html
2) Build your box!
3) Take up to 3 pictures and/or a short (:30 sec) video of the results, and submit it, by using the upload link, provided below, by September 7, 2021.

Then, join us for our online video presentation, on October 1, 2021, at 7:00PM, for fun, laughter, and prize drawings! 🤩

During the event, the “FundRaising” and “Best Box” winners will be announced!

Two of the participants, a sister and brother team, had this cool display, as a BBQ food truck and ice cream truck. They had the clever idea to actually sell ice cream bars, for a dollar each, then donate their sales money to McHenry House.
And that’s just what they did!

Honorable Mention to Santiago! His box represents areas where his family is from ~ San Francisco and France. Santiago writes letters of hope to give out to homeless people. Such a thoughtful heart, he has. Thank you, Santiago, for being a light for others!
