EOE Rescue East of Eden K-9 rescue is a companion animal rescue dedicated to finding homes for animals. We strive to find forever homes for our rescued dogs and cats.

East of Eden (EOE) is an animal rescue group run entirely by volunteers. We are a 501c(3) non-profit organization run entirely on donations. We provide foster homes for all our animals until they are adopted.

Meet Gwen!! Gwen‘s approximately 2 years old/spayed. She loves people, she is a little timid around tall men. She loves smiling and giving hugs. She loves going for walks. She has a lot of energy and gets bored easily. She is not good with small dogs without supervision and can not be around cats due to aggression . She has not been around young children regularly but when encountering them on outings she is good with them. She rarely barks, she knows basic commands. Let's introduce our new boy!! This sweet boy, PawPaw, has already been through more than any dog should. He was found running through traffic, scared and alone, but thankfully he’s now safe—and ready for a new beginning.

Despite everything, PawPaw is incredibly loving, gentle, and just wants to be close to people. The best part? He’s both dog-friendly and people-friendly, making him a wonderful companion for families, individuals, or even homes with other pets.

PawPaw is estimated to be around 5–6 years old and is up to date on all his vaccines, so he’s ready to settle right into his new home.

He has a kind soul, a soft heart, and so much love to give. PawPaw is the type of dog who will follow you around, lean into you for comfort, and remind you every day what unconditional love looks like.

He’s looking for a forever home where he can feel safe, cherished, and never alone again. Whether it’s cozy nights on the couch or daily walks, he just wants to be part of a family.

Miss Harper (my nickname)

Harper is around 3 years old dog whose early life was tough, but her progress since then has been remarkable. She used to be very fearful of people, dogs, new objects, and everyday activities. Over the past year, she’s made incredible progress through one-on-one dog training, public exposure work, and group dog classes.

Thanks to that growth, Harper has blossomed into a sweet, loving, and playful dog. She now enjoys playing ball, soaking up belly rubs, and happily rolling around in the grass, little things that show just how far she’s come.

She’s still a sensitive soul who will thrive with someone patient, willing to go at her pace, and committed to continuing her journey with understanding and care. She is ready to find her perfect match! Courtesy Posting!!! These two beautiful dogs need to find a new home or foster. If you can help foster or are interested in adoption please contact EOE, as this is a courtesy posting we like to assist owners in tough situations. Here is a Bio of both 🐶. 🐾 Paco & Mamas Looking for Loving Homes 🐾

Paco is a 45 lb neutered male Shepherd mix with a medium energy level and a calm, gentle personality. Mamas is a 35 lb spayed female Lab mix with a low energy level and a very easygoing, affectionate nature. Both dogs are up to date on vaccines, potty trained, crate trained, and know basic commands. They are wonderful with dogs, cats, and kids, and both have a low bark frequency, making them great additions to many types of families.

Paco is still working on his excited greetings and may jump up to say hello, but he’s gentle about it and eager to learn. Mamas is a loving, easygoing girl who enjoys being around her people.

Ideally, we would love for Paco and Mamas to stay together, as they are bonded companions, but we are open to separating them into two equally amazing homes if the right families come along.

Their current owner is facing an incredibly difficult situation and recently became homeless after a breakup. They are currently living in their car but remain committed to keeping Paco and Mamas safe and out of the shelter. The dogs are being boarded thanks to their owner’s sacrifices and the kindness of a generous donor who is helping cover some of the costs.

These pups deserve stability, love, and a place to finally call home.

Let us introduce Hayden!!! Who was recently known as oblito at the he was scheduled to be euthanized for space and injury. But an amazing foster and trainer advocated for Hayden and we were able to rescue him! Hayden has not had it easy! This poor big guy was hit by a car and landed in the overcrowded shelter. He is healing from his injuries and will also be getting neutered soon. We would love to raise some funds for his care and future care needed. No amount is ever to small 🐶. This big teddy bear and EOE's team appreciates all the support. Come meet Bruno today at petsmart in Tracy!!! He will be there from 11-1:30pm! people for pets rescue will be having an adoption event today at Tracy Petsmart and he will be a guest!!!! He's ready to find his forever home! He is the best boy!!! Here is a short bio for Bruno! Bruno is thee BEST giant teddy bear snuggler! He's very sweet, gentle & extremely loyal. This is your guy if you like a "shadow" dog. Approximately 1.5-2 years old, Bruno loves to be around people and enjoys the company of other dogs, & he does well with cats. He's a big gentle lover boy, does well on a leash & knows some basic obedience commands. Bruno is doing well with potty training and crate training. He is neutered, current on vaccines, and microchipped. good in the car, and loves people! As a rescue even if we can not take a dog under EOE we still try to help the best we can. We were lucky at the time we were able to assist with Bruno. even though he is not an EOE dog a community member needed some help after she took him in as a temporary foster. EOE had a behavioral evaluation done on bruno from our trusted trainer, he of course did wonderful the sweet boy he is. so we were able to network him with the trainers evaluation. The temporary foster has an unspayed female puppy at home (she is waiting for her spay appointment) so we did not want to risk any chances with an accidental liter! We needed to help her get him neutered asap. A wonderful volunteer of EOE donated towards his neuter and vaccinations! she also helped with some good quality food to get some meat on his bones. He got neutered last week and was doing good! Then his temp foster called EOE and told us his sac became veryyyy swollen!!! she was worried, we of course had to help Bruno even though he was not an EOE dog. The foster said she could not pay for anything to be done at the vet. EOE stepped up and payed the $350 bill for bruno in his emergency. He had to have a scrotal ablation done that day!! He was sent home with 3 medications, cone again and crate rest! He will need his sutures removed in two weeks. We would love some finacial assistance with the unexpected bill. If you would like to donate no amount is too small! 🐾❤️🐾!!! Bruno is healing up and still the sweetest boy EOE volunteers have fallen in love with this gentle giant. Thank you! 🐾Options to donate🐾

Courtesy posting (not an EOE dog) Okay dog community let's get this sweet boy a foster or a forever home!!! He was found lying on a residents front porch with a leash connected to him. He did not want to leave the porch. A kind neighbor took him in so he could be safe and fed. She has taken all the legal steps in trying to find an owner but no one has come forward! It has been a few weeks and he is still with them. He is staying in the backyard and the weather is about to get bad! He really needs to find a long term foster or adopter!!! He is good with their two children, they are unsure of age but he is young. If you can help this sweet gentle boy please reach out to finder at (209)601-3473!!!

Age: 3 years | Gender: Male | Breed: Tabby | Special Trait: Toothless wonder

Meet Aragorn, a large, majestic tabby who’s equal parts chill roommate and stealthy shadow. He was returned for not being “super playful,” but let’s be honest — not everyone needs to be a circus act! Aragorn prefers quiet companionship and will watch you go about your day like a little creeper (in the most endearing way possible).

Since having his teeth removed due to stomatitis, Aragorn has actually become more affectionate and a little less of a creeper — he’s now happier and healthier. He’s not the cuddly type unless you’re perfectly still or laying down — then suddenly, you’ve got an aggressive cuddler on your hands.

He’s been regularly groomed and doesn’t mind a little pampering. Aragorn has also been around dogs and does well with calm, respectful pups after a proper introduction. And if you ever need a dinner companion, he’s your guy — he loves chicken nuggets and will beg for them like it’s his full-time job.

Perfect for someone who appreciates a “sometimes cat” — low-maintenance, occasionally clingy, and always entertaining in his own mysterious way.
