URGENT ACTION NEEDED TODAY – AB 126

Today is likely the day the Senate votes on AB 126.

Because AB 126 is a budget trailer bill, it must move forward as part of the state budget process. We’re not asking legislators to simply vote no, we’re asking them to adopt our suggested amendments that protect California’s public charter school students and families.

If the Senate passes AB 126 today, it will likely move straight to the Assembly, making today’s outreach especially important.

Please take a few minutes to act today:

• Call your State Senator and Assemblymember.
• Ask to speak with the staff member handling AB 126.
• Email them the linked amendment request document and ask them to propose our suggested amendments.
