We are going to keep this thing going.

The next stop is San Jose CA !!

This was never about Trump, it was always about standing against the institutions that operate in the dark & the policy that has created a billion dollar industry with the detainment of migrants.

We are just trying to raise awareness.

If we just sit & watch "they" will think we are ok with the inhumane treatment of migrants.

Immigration has developed from a Government facilitated Bracero program to mass deportations to Zero Tolerance & Family Separations back to "packing migrants in cages" & using things like Title 42 to deny the 1st step of establishing credible fear in the asylum seeking process.

At the heart of all of this is the inhumane treatement of migrants once they are detained.

Whether its in a Border Patrol holding cell, government or private facility.

We DEMAND the abuses of detained migrants end immediately.

We DEMAND there be unannounced unaffiliated 3rd party Welfare Checks & all findings be made public.

Alternatives to Detention like the Family Case Management Program need to be used.

This country was built on the backs of migrants, we can not just get what we want from them & then turn them away.

Title 42 is being used to turn migrants away & does not allow migrants to establish credible fear in their asylum requests.

Less than 1% have been allowed to state their case for asylum.

No More Title 42

Right now there is a crisis at the Border & we have to make sure we are still making noise to make sure they dont make this the norm.

There needs to be better Pathways to Citizenship & Border Patrols processing practices need to be addressed.

Their union, the National Border Patrol Council needs to be dismantled.

It doesnt matter who is President.

This is not about politics it is about Human Rights

You do not need to be an immigrant to care

We need you NOW not later

We need to be the change !!

No more out of sight out of mind !!

Im doing my best to look at everything that is going on before saying something.

Under the last administration a lot had already been put into play before I was even involved in anything.

Here we are with a new administration.

Things like Title 42 are giving conflicting messages & that is a rollover controversial policy from the last administration.

The pictures of migrants being crammed together "again" is heartbreaking.

The detaining migrants for profit seems to never change.

Some immigrants said they were being released inside the U.S. without knowing how they will be contacted to appear for their asylum hearings.

This was not easy to find but this is the 1st "over flow" facility for migrant children opened under Mr Biden, it is in Carrizo Springs, TX.

Its actually called "The Studios at Carrizo Springs" it is now re-opened.

3 unmarked blacked out SUVs followed us & pulled us over after leaving here, luckily we were let go.

I will take anything that comes with standing up for what is right.

Please do not stop making noise.

Please do not be pacified.

If you are able you are needed RIGHT NOW

If you have a platform or a voice you are needed RIGHT NOW

Even if you RESIST alone, RESIST.

NO MORE SILENCE

We cant wait for "someone else" to do something.

WE NEED TO BE THE CHANGE

This was never about bashing Trump, it was always about being a voice for those that can not fight back.

They say the kids in this influx facility are "ok" but how do we believe that when there were allegations of "sexual abuse" in 1 of these facilities in 2019 ?

If we do not take action we will end up with the "same situation different President"

We need to unite & there is no better time than NOW.

Please look past gang affiliations whether political or street.

Please look past skin color & see that together we can make sure migrant kids & adults in these places are not being abused.

The safety of kids should ALWAYS be priority, the process of getting kids to appropriate sponsors or family members needs to be expedited & fixed

Facilities like "The Studios" are not even state regulated to have kids & it was reported they cost $775 compared to regulated facilities that cost $256 of "our" tax dollars.

How do we know they are following the Flores Agreement & other protocol ?

"There needs to be weekly unaffiliated 3rd Party welfare checks in ALL facilities & findings need to be made public. If everything is ok, prove it."

LETS WAKE THE GIANT UP

When WE say enough is enough, it will be enough.

Part of Bidens Campaign promises was to Close the Camps.

“Close them down. By the way, we don’t need them,” Biden said of detention centers. “We don’t have to keep kids in a cage.”

Biden’s campaign website said that if elected, he would “End for-profit detention centers” and “End prolonged detention and reinvest in a case management program.”

There comes a time where we are taking words as actions & not understanding that the only thing that is changing is the "abuser"

"The Biden administration’s hesitation to phase out the use of for-profit detention facilities comes as it seeks to broadly reset the country’s immigration agenda, including rolling back many of former President Donald Trump’s policies and proposing legislation that would allow undocumented immigrants living in the country to eventually become citizens."

There can be no legit Immigration Reform without addressing the Detention Centers. Stopping the abuse & neglect of human beings should be a no-brainer right ?

Why would facilities that allow forced hysterectomies & children to be molested still be allowed to operate without any oversight or change in how the system is run ?

Why ?

When we are all on the same page there will be change not when some of us are still saying "be positive he means well"

Some are attempting to pacify others with the "wait and see" approach.

I just dont understand the logic when people are being abused everyday.

Is that what we would want from other if the tables were turned ?

Wouldnt we want immediate action to stop being abused or would we say, wait hes a good guy, lets see wait & see what happens.

Its borderline cointelpro telling Raza to not be so upset "it could be worse."

Lets stay awake, aware & vigilant in our causes.

We need to act & move with courage & purpose.

Lets keep demanding change until there is change, you dont stop when they "say" ok we will change it.

What kind of getting comfortable in an abusive relationship attitude is that ??

We are the change & the voice for the voiceless.

We are the majority that still care, that still believe in compassion, love and doing what is right, even if we get nothing in return

There are alternatives to detention that are not being utilized, bring back the Family Case Management Program.

It will never be enough if the powers that be allow abuses to continue against migrants after they are detained.

ICE was created to fight terror but instead it is terrorizing people.

You are either ok with people being abused or you are not, there is no middle ground.

Pick a Side.

No More Kids in Cages is a reminder of how bad it can get if we are not paying attention.

No More Kids in Cages means we cant ever let them think it is ok to do it again.

1 kid in 1 cage, 1 time, is 1 too many.

1 kid lost & just 1 kid separated from their family is 1 too many.
