💜 UPDATE ON OAS CATS 💜
A huge thank you to everyone who has helped us get Bojangles, Boise, and Bambi the critical dental surgeries they so desperately needed. Because of your generosity, these cats are finally on the path to relief and healing. 💛
Originally, Buttons was scheduled as one of the three cats going in for surgery. However, because her kittens were still too young, she had to wait. When reached out to ask if another cat in urgent need could take her surgery slot, we said yes, while remaining fully committed to getting Buttons the care she needs.
We’re happy to share that Buttons is now almost ready for surgery, and thanks to continued support, we are also very close to having enough funds to send another cat, Bluey, in for surgery as well. Bluey is in severe pain and requires dental extractions to finally be comfortable.
A little backstory:
Buttons, Boise, and Bojangles are just 3 of 20 cats rescued from a heartbreaking hoarding case who need immediate medical attention. Our friends at OAS reached out to us for help, as the majority of these cats are suffering from Chronic Stomatitis, a painful condition that causes extreme inflammation throughout the mouth and makes eating agonizing. For most of them, full-mouth extractions are the only solution.
Because of your donations, we’ve already been able to help additional cats from this case and now we’re just $300 away from sending Bluey in as the fifth cat to receive this life-changing surgery.
