Do you have thoughts or ideas about what types of events, businesses, and activities you would like to see in Towson? Do you have concerns about Towson that you would like to see addressed?

Now's your chance to share that feedback! The Towson Chamber of Commerce has created a survey to gather input from Towson residents, business owners, students, visitors, etc. to help them prioritize initiatives around events, retail mix, storefront vitality, parking and way-finding — all of which have direct impact on our community.

The survey only takes a few minutes, but your insight will play a major role in shaping Towson’s future.

If you have not already completed the survey, please take a few minutes to complete it, and encourage your neighbors, business owners, etc. to complete the survey as well. The more responses we receive, the stronger data and impact we will have.

Paid & volunteer opportunities for teens and adults at summer camp for vulnerable children
Camp Opportunity of Maryland is a private, nonprofit organization that provides an overnight summer camp experience for Maryland children ages 8-11 who have experienced abuse and neglect.
There are several paid and volunteer positions available, including camp counselors, lifeguards, recreation staff, etc. Male counselors are especially needed. Volunteer drivers are also needed to transport campers to and from camp.
Counselors must be at least 16 years of age, while support staff may be 15+. All must complete required background checks and fingerprinting to ensure the safety and well-being of our campers. Service hours are provided for those fulfilling academic or program requirements.
Training is provided for all staff members and is mandatory and includes both in-person and online learning opportunities.

The Baltimore County Revenue Authority garages will provide free parking in its Towson garages from 9:00 p.m. on Saturday night until Tuesday evening at midnight to accommodate area residents who wish to get their cars off neighborhood streets.

Please do not park on the streets so the plows are able to remove the snow from parking areas.

The garages will operate as they normally do on Saturday for short term parking patrons who are patronizing area businesses.

The Baltimore County Revenue Authority garages that will provide the storm period parking are:

Library Parking Facility - 115 Towsontown Blvd
Baltimore Avenue Parking Facility 110 W. Susquehanna Avenue
Tolbert Parking Facility - 108 Ware Avenue
Towson Square Garage - 505 Virginia Avenue

Please observe all parking regulations in the garages and keep the drive lanes open. Oversize vehicles are not permitted in the garages as they may not may not fit due to the structural height restrictions.

Revenue Authority parking lots around the County should be avoided as our goal will be to clear snow as soon as practical after the snow stops.
