Phi Beta Kappa Alumni Association of Greater Baltimore

Phi Beta Kappa Alumni Association of Greater Baltimore The Phi Beta Kappa Alumni Association of Greater Baltimore was founded to further the ideals of the Phi Beta Kappa Society in the Baltimore area.

Phi Beta Kappa was founded by five students at the College of William & Mary in 1776, during the American Revolution. For over two and a quarter centuries, the Society has embraced the principles of freedom of inquiry and liberty of thought and expression. Each year, about one college senior in a hundred, nationwide, is invited to join Phi Beta Kappa.

This page is for members and friends of the Phi Beta Kappa Alumni Association of Greater Baltimore. The purpose of this group is to inform current and prospective members of our Alumni Association about PBK events in Baltimore. This Alumni Association seeks to stimulate the minds of our members and enjoy the company of other Phi Beta Kappa members. Since our founding in 1996, we have gotten together with enthusiastic community members to enjoy programs and events at local museums, universities, art galleries, and historical monuments.
