The Baltimore Club annually sponsors a Troop/Family/Friends/Staff picnic for Special Needs Family Scout Troop 730. Harmonica entertainment by longtime scout leader Dick Shine, delicious grilled hamburgers and hot dogs grilled by Scout leaders Phil Levinson, Joe Tewey and Civitan Chip Woods, yummy salads and accompaniments, capped off with a "digestive walk" was the fun and fellowship of the day. It didn't rain!!

"Jack's Garden", Jack McWilliams of Maxalea Nursery, in the William S. Baer School, gladly received a generous donation from the Baltimore Civitan Club to help with their newly refurbished greenhouse and garden where students not only learn, but find respite, creativity and joy! As Jack lead a tour, our visiting youth Riya from Chennai, India, our newest Civitan Club, helped with the presentation and was amazed at the uniqueness, fun and beauty of the garden which she plans to share when she returns to India.

With Tina Chan-Sweeney championing the project, (pictured front right), the Baltimore Civitan Club recently resupplied the White Oak School store with fun and engaging items for students with special needs. This donation helps encourage positive behavior, builds confidence, and brings joy to students redeeming coupons. The club is proud to continue its mission of service by supporting education and inclusion in our community.
