We’re excited to shine a spotlight on another wonderful Free Little Library in our neighborhood! This charming library is stocked with books thanks to the thoughtfulness of the neighbors who keep it going.

Whether you’re walking the dog, heading to the park, or just out for a stroll, swing by to grab a book or leave one for someone else to enjoy. It's these small, heartfelt touches that continue to bring us together. Have you visited this one yet?

🎉 Knollwood's August TGIF is ON! 🍕🍦
Good news, neighbors: the weather’s looking good, and our August TGIF event is still happening today from 5–7pm! Come out and enjoy free pizza courtesy of Knollwood Association, meet your neighbors, and treat yourself to delicious ice cream from local favorite Taharka Brothers, who’ll be on site selling their sweet scoops. See you on Rappaix Court!

Hello friends,

Thank you for all the cases of bottled water you have donated to help our homeless neighbors during this very hot summer. We are looking good on water for now, but are in need of shelf stable fruit cups to add into the lunches for the homeless. See example below. Thank you!

The Department of Aging in partnership with the University of Maryland Extension Summer Youth Program are pleased to offer the following in-person support sessions from July 8 through August 7.
