Birders wanted! As of last Saturday, 99 species of birds have been recorded at NeighborSpace sites this year.

We are looking for birders to help us find the 100th! We believe the sky’s the limit for these sites, and are expanding our bird monitoring programs.

So, if you’re a birder in Baltimore County and are interested in getting out to our sites, reach out to our Community Conservation Manager Will by emailing [email protected]

All levels of skill and experience welcome!

Thanks to our generous donors, we reached our $3,000 goal!

Starting as early as this week and continuing through the summer, NeighborSpace will have three college students working on stewardship and communications projects.

Thank you for everyone who came to Ridgely Manor on Saturday to enjoy live music at the park, and to Pat Alban and his Buena Vista Social for their musical stylings - apparently it was a rocking time!

This past weekend, NeighborSpace held a pair of live music events at Ridgely Manor Park in Towson and Chestnut Park in Dundalk. Neighbors showed up to enjoy the music, chat with each other, and enjoy good food.

We love having the opportunity to host fun social events like this that bring the community together!

This Wednesday, our Executive Director Phyllis will be a speaker as part of the CRC lunchtime webinar series!

Phyllis, along with Bri Winter and Kensey Barker, will be giving a talk about how inclusive outdoor recreation fuels broader environmental restoration and engagement. We hope to see you there!
