In early March 2024, children playing in the woods in the 8300 block of Bradshaw Road in Kingsville discovered a human skull. A subsequent search of the area by homicide detectives and volunteers with the Chesapeake Search and Rescue Dog Association led to the discovery of additional human bones. DNA testing confirmed that the skull and additional remains belonged to the same individual.

The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner determined that the unidentified individual is likely a Hispanic female between the ages of 20 and 30.

Despite extensive investigative efforts, including DNA analysis and genetic genealogy, detectives have been unable to identify the woman. In 2026, a NamUs forensic artist completed the following rendering to provide an approximation of what Bradshaw Jane Doe may have looked like.

Detectives are asking anyone who may have information about the identity of this woman to contact the Baltimore County Police Department. They are also encouraging anyone who may know of a person whose disappearance was never reported to come forward. Even information that may seem insignificant could help investigators identify her and provide answers about who she was.
