Baltimore County Animal Services has waived all adoption fees through Sunday and are encouraging anyone interested in adopting, fostering, or rescuing an animal to visit - you can also look at pets up for adoption at https://www.baltimorecountymd.gov/departments/animal-services/adoption

Baltimore County Animal Services needs your help!

After taking in more than 30 animals+ today, every kennel in the shelter is full. While the BCAS team is working hard to care for all of the animals, they urgently need help creating space for incoming animals that have nowhere else to go.

BCAS has waived all adoption fees through Sunday and are encouraging anyone interested in adopting, fostering or rescuing an animal to visit us.

Please help spread the word! Every adoption, foster placement, and rescue transfer opens a kennel for another animal in need.

Yellow-crowned night heron, seen here near the Royal Farm store, at W. Joppa & Thornton Rds. This is one reason why our volunteers were picking up trash today in that area! Did you know... yellow-crowned night herons mainly eat crustaceans?(crabs and crayfish).
