Like every community in the United States, Towson is not immune to the tragedies of domestic violence, human trafficking, and sexual assault. So again this October, the Pink & Blues Music Foundation is working with TurnAround, Inc. to host “Songs Of Resilience: A Celebration For Suvivors” at the famous The Recher Theatre in Towson.
Turnaround Inc. is a Towson based charity with a national focus to remember the victims and advocate for the suvivors of these traumatic crimes.
Sponsorship for this year’s event is made up of a diverse coalition of small Towson businesses and organizations from the Asian, African, Nepali, Law Enforcement, and Art communities. Led by Ping Wu of Red Pepper Sichuan Bistro - 川知味 the coalition includes:
Nancy R Goldring of Historic East Towson
Narayan Khakurel of Coffee Talk Cafe
Joni Elmore of Kona Ice of Central Baltimore County
Deirdre Aikin of Triple Crown Towson Tattoo and
Chatime Towson Bubble Tea & Bakery
On October 18, let everyone know that Towson took a stand to support resilience in the face of tragedy and violence. For tickets, go to:
