Broadwater Educational Foundation A nonprofit organization that will obtain donations to provide funding for academic-related activities for students in Broadwater County.

The mission of the Broadwater Educational Foundation is to achieve academic excellence through enhanced classroom opportunities and experiences for K-12 public school students within the Townsend School District No. 1. The Foundation will fulfill its mission by obtaining donations and contributions from individuals rather than seeking additional funding from property taxpayers. Through a grant app

lication and review process, the Foundation will then provide funding for academic-related activities such as educational programs, elective courses, school room grants, textbooks, supplies, scholarships, and any other suitable and worthwhile purposes.

What an incredible night! 🎉 A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out to support and fundraise for the Broadwater Educational Foundation’s annual Trivia Night.

We packed in 6 rounds plus a final challenge, tackled 61 questions, and chased a perfect score of 160 points. With 13 teams, 104 players, 8 amazing volunteers, and truly umpteen laughs, the energy in the room was unbeatable!

From 90s grunge audio clips to partial logo reveals, celebrity tattoos, March Madness trivia, rom-coms, and more — there was something for everyone. And that final question? Only THREE teams cracked it!

8th BEF Trivia Night!
Thank you to all that continue to support BEF, our trivia nights, and our mission. From our humble beginnings with our first trivia night squished into the Commercial Bar to tonight’s record 18 teams, we look forward to our annual trivia night and hope you do too! Congratulations to our top 3 teams — 1st place🥇Irish Wrist Watch, 2nd place 🥈 Cobra Kai (1st and 2nd places separated by ONE point!!) and 3rd place 🥉 Sherlock’s Homies. Thank you also to: Tara and Mitch Dana and the U.S. Forest Service for loaning and setting up projector, microphone, projector screen, and speakers; the American Legion for catering our no-host bar; for our helpers in the kitchen and scoring; and the Townsend PTA for their invaluable help serving and in the kitchen. See you all next year and thank you again for a fun night!
